"Superior acts": BVB in the second round of the Youth League

The U19 team of Borussia Dortmund stands in the second round of the UEFA Youth League. In the playoff game at FC Employ, the BVB prevailed due to a strong performance in the offensive.

Borussia Dortmund may continue to dream of title in the UEFA Youth League. Thanks to a 5: 3 success in the Italian representative FC Employ, the BVB juniors are qualified for the secondary final.

Jamie Bye Kittens brought the black and yellow in the 14th minute. But the FC Employ showed himself unimpressed and provided by a double strike of Luca Magazine (15./28.) 2: 1 for the hosts. Shortly before the break, the BVB came to compensation by an own goal of Employs Pergola (41.).

BVB holds the German flag

For the BVB, the journey through Europe continues. The secondary final (1st/2. March 2022) will be drawn on the next Monday. With the FC Bayern, VFL Wolfsburg and RB Leipzig, all other German clubs were already eliminated in the group stage from the competition.

The UEFA Youth League will be decided at the end of April at a Final Four tournament in Non. The quarter-finals will take place on 15 and 16 March.

Next Sunday, the Dortmund U19 continues in the Bundesliga-West against the Wuppertal SV. Currently, the BVB ranks at the first place with 25 points. Behind Bayer Leverkusen, the FC Schalke 04 (both 18 meters) and Viktoria Cologne (17) and red-white food (17).
