Collecting ideas: Graz gets an Ivica-Osim

Fans of the SK Sturm have been calling for an Ivica Osim-Straße in Graz for many years. That was continued after his death. Mayor Elke Kahr (KPÖ) now commented.

Sturm-Graz century coach Ivica Osim died in Graz on May 1st at the age of 80. The sympathy in the past few days has been huge. The Bosnian won two championships with the SK Sturm and had spectacular football practiced with Ivica Vastic, Hannes Reinmayr & Co., but became a human side through a human side.

Finally, the demands for an Osim-Straße in Graz were again Lauter. Mayor Elke Kahr now emphasized that she would like to clarify any space or street names with the von Osim family and will discuss on Friday in a city council meeting. Two possible places: the stadium forecourt of the Merkur Arena or the Augarten, where the SK Sturm was founded. The Augarten is likely to be a favorite, after all, the GAK also plays in the Graz stadium.
